6 Mudcloth Pillows with 1 yard of Pace Made Fabric

This project has been sitting on my to do list for far too long. I should've done it so much sooner so I could obsess over my cute new pillows for longer. I am in love with the mud cloth look and textures, but I am a little bit too frugal/cheap/lame to buy the real deal. A yard of that runs around $150... and one pillow cover is at least $50.

For $27 I was able to make SIX mud cloth pillow covers. One yard of linen cotton canvas ultra, so you get the soft texture of a throw pillow & then some sort of white heavy canvas for the back (mine was leftover from the tie I sewed).

The fabric can be purchased here: https://www.spoonflower.com/fabric/6099909-six-mudcloth-pillows-by-pacemadedesigns

All I did, was cut out the fabric around each design, which is clearly printed, so that part is so easy. Then I sewed the back on in two different pieces so I could create an envelope to change out the cover for easy wash... you could also do a zipper... or even nothing at all. Straight lines people... the non-sewers can do this!
