Boho Nursery Makeover Plan for the One Room Challenge (week 1)

Bare Bones

When we looked at this house this room was their family room with an unfinished basement. I was 35 weeks pregnant when we moved in and told PJ that the baby needed a room by the time she was 6 months old. I wanted all my babies on the same floor as me and not in the basement.

When she was 8 months the wall was built, our makeshift family room went down to our finished basement and eventually, I got around to painting it.

The other side of the wall was bedroom number 7... aka the junk collector. Storage for all unfinished projects, crafts, paint cans.

When I got a positive pregnancy test and then got so sick I knew *eventually* I’d get to cleaning up this room and making it a nursery. Welp, the second I started feeling better the plan began, tore off the ugly trim, got rid of all the junk, and here we are. Barebones 💀

I feel like our house is expanding since this room acted as a dropping ground for the last year. 😂 it’s like when you finally clean out your junk drawer or pantry and your kitchen feels bigger. Let’s tackle it. 💪🏼 #xoORC
